TRUTH ABOUT AYURVEDIC CENTERS
The question may indeed naturally arise: what tells us that this center is not bogus? What is the warranty? Is this really the well-being? Shall I come back rested and in good shape? Shall I eat well and sleep well?
Some of these questions are resolved in the section THE TRUTH ABOUT AYURVEDA, but it can in fact be centers that employ unqualified personnel, or
have hygiene or hosting objectionable.
We try to control a maximum centers, going several times a year to make a tour of inspection, but there are many, and in a year things can change. We are very
attentive to all your comments when you return to cure - unfortunately we do not get enough - we publish, if you wish, or we keep at the disposal
of those who want more information experienced on a particular center.
To side a little confusion that is installed on the "market" for Ayurveda, we classified centers in 5 categories for which we have created five different logos, to which we must add the certifications Green Leaf and Olive Leaf to Kerala, and soon the standard NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) issued by the federal government of India in Delhi.
The word hospital or clinic can be used for any place where vaidyas and therapists are curing people, that is why, often, ayurvedic resorts can also bear this name "hospital".

Some ayurvedic centers may not be able to host disable people in wheel chairs or whith other physsical problems, as they are not equipped for. It is then very important to check first whether it is possible or not.

There is generally no medical diagnosis by vaidyas (ayurvedic doctors). Oils are not personalized, it can, however, give an idea of the tools used by Ayurveda.

NB :authenticity, for us, means medical competence.
The authenticity as "exotic atmosphere" with old smells and Indianness for tourists, it is another story ...
Stars are not like in tourist guides, but my only personnal and subjective way to appreciate the different centers according to the criteria defined on the first page of the site. It is a quote ranging from 1 to 6.
MY OPINION ABOUT CENTERS
By dint of visiting, exploring, testing, dialoguing, I have realized that there is a bit of everything, but when there is real care, it is finally a good thing.
And even, when medical issues are not a priority for some money-makers minds, the context, the treatments, the food and Dhanvantari's blessings will do the job, introducing to Ayurveda secret powers...
However I find it unfortunate that for example the Americans spend $ 50 billion a year for back problems while in 15 days we permanently disappear sciatica and herniated disc. (not to mention the 250,000 surgical operations of the spine they could have avoided)
There is therefore bad information about what Ayurveda can do, and the centers are co-responsible for it, because they promote an image of well-being (to bring in customers who do not go so badly ) while many sufferings could be reduced or even eliminated if they had the honesty to tell the truth. In their defense, we must recognize that a real panchakarma (minimum three weeks), it is not at all a part of pleasure ...
